An oddly shaped living room + a large u-shape couch = a unique need for a piece of non-conventional furniture. We built this couch table to solve that — as well as a few other problems.
We needed a more comfortable place to set drinks and decor, we needed an easy way to charge our devices and plug in other items, and we needed some storage.
The result was a couch table built of maple that spanned the entire width of the wall our couch rests against. The table include a power outlet that also includes a couple USB ports for easy charging, and also includes some hidden wireless charging. It’s been great to have access to the wireless charging without the need for an extra cord or dongle.
Each side of the table pulls out to reveal storage drawers that we use for our internet devices as well as items that don’t necessarily have a place like back and neck massagers.
